My path to becoming a plastic surgeon started as a child growing up as one of two sons that frequently accompanied my father to hospitals on weekends to round on patients.
I knew from an early age that I would one day become a physician. After finishing medical school I completed my General Surgery Residency training in various hospitals in New Jersey and New York City, including the world-renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, working alongside some of the leading cancer surgeons in the country. Despite caring for a full range of patients in every capacity from Trauma to Intensive Care to outpatient surgeries, it was always the cases with the Plastic Surgeons I trained with that got me the most excited.

Pearce Plastic Surgery is a specialist medical practice serving patients in the Buffalo area and across New York State. The practice’s founder developed an early drive to pursue medicine, frequently accompanying his father to hospitals on weekends and deciding from a young age that he would one day become a physician. After completing medical school, he completed a General Surgery Residency across hospitals in New Jersey and New York City, including training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he worked alongside leading cancer surgeons in the country. Throughout his surgical training, he cared for a full range of patients and responsibilities, from trauma and intensive care to outpatient surgeries. However, the experiences and mentorship provided by plastic surgery colleagues were especially motivating and helped shape a focused commitment to plastic surgery. Pearce Plastic Surgery combines this broad, high-acuity surgical background with a dedicated passion for the plastic surgery specialty—bringing a patient-centered approach rooted in extensive clinical experience and rigorous training.
